Zachary, 2 months

I drove up to Northern VA to photograph this sweet family early in January. The traffic always amazes me in NOVA, it's a dog-eat-dog world up there. But it was totally worth it when they opened their apartment door and I saw their smiling faces, and especially their adorable baby Zachary. I recently said to my boyfriend, "I just want to cuddle ALL THE BABIES!!", to which he replied with a blank stare. I guess the maternal instinct is just a liittle stronger on my end. ;)

I love the softness and sweetness about these pictures--they were taken in their family home, which I think creates the intimate feel they have. Zachary was pretty suspicious of me and my big black thing I kept poking in his face, but he managed to give me some sweet smiles anyway.
















Bency decorated Zachary's nursery so well! I loved all the bright colors.





Such a sweet family. I'm going to go find something soft to squeeze now...must. Cuddle. Something.
