Hello, dear readers, and Merry Christmas! I am so behind on blogging. I finished my last semester of undergraduate classes a couple weeks ago, and I've been enjoying Christmas vacation ever since. My poor man had ACL surgery a few days before Christmas and I have been helping his family take of him. Even though he's probably the easiest patient ever to take care of, I have a new appreciation for care takers and parents everywhere. This morning my only goal was to get him to his holiday intersession class on time (yes he is taking a class a week after ACL surgery...yes we are crazy). After helping him around, making sure he had food and water and medicine packed, calling the doctor to ask some post-op questions, and checking about handicapped-accessible class entrances, I was in the car before I realized that I had completely forgotten to put on make-up or do my hair. Also I've been wearing the same clothes for two days. But hey, we got to class on time.
I am going a little out of order with this post, but I couldn't resist sharing these. My sweet friend Hilliary is in VCU's music education program with me. I've heard about Andrew all throughout college (they're high school sweethearts), and last spring he proposed at the finish line of the Monument 10K. They're getting married in June and I could not be happier for them. Hilliary is a little ray of sunshine and Andrew is one lucky guy. Enjoy, and look for more posts soon!
Their baby Tatum joined us...when he wasn't busy running like crazy around the property.
