In July, my sweet roommate Mandy got married, and along with my friend Jennie I had the honor of taking pictures for the wedding! Her and Stephen are adorable--they are made for each other.
Maymont is probably one of the most photographed places in Richmond...you can't go there without seeing someone with a camera. I enjoyed a few photography excursions there myself. :)
Oh, you know, just hanging out in a tree with my boyfriend. :)
My friend Jennie and I went and did a little portrait shoot of our own...it's always nice having photographer friends who also happen to be gorgeous, because you can practice on them and they don't mind!

yeah...I seem to have spent a lot of time up in a tree this past semester..

My roommate Hannah got engaged this summer, and not only was I able to be there when it happened and take stealth pictures, I got to take their engagement pictures! I'll probably do a separate post of those, since I have so many...but here are some pictures of the actual event!
yayy!!
A few months later, another one of my roommates Hilary got engaged! It's like an epidemic. Seriously, if you want to be engaged or married in the next year, just room with me. It will happen. We made them cupcakes (Gluten-free Pamela's chocolate cake mix--delicious! Moist and rich...they were gone within like 3 days.) I really loved the idea of "Mr." and "Mrs." cupcakes, I was so glad they turned out!

The next day, Hilary kindly let me play around with her beautiful ring and the gorgeous flowers Paul had gotten her...100 roses! I'm not exaggerating. He is head over heels for her and went all out to ask her to be his wife. Men, take note. :)

I started off the year spending the day with James in downtown Fredericksburg, walking around and taking pictures of things. He actually loved it--I had to steal my camera back to get any shots! It was so much fun just to have a photo excursion, since I definitely don't do it too often during the school year. Here are some of my favorites from the day.

James got a few good ones as well...I was proud of him!

Well, that brings us back to present day...I'll probably do a post soon of Hannah and Jake's engagement shoot, which I loved. I don't have a business or anything, and probably about 2 people will look at all of these, but I like having somewhere other than Facebook to put my photography and narrate my adventures. So, until next time! :)
